Add more coupons/product diversity to the @gamer magazine

@Gamer is a great magazine with great coupons & it's come along way from where it started but there's no reason to get stale/complacent.

Because of the limited # of coupons(8) whole systems get completely ignored & others are severly limited but BB sells all the systems so it makes no sense not to promote them all. My solution is simple

1-Increase the total # of coupons to 18-20.

2-Make sure there's a coupon that can attract any gaming customer so they feel there's value ever month even when there's a month that they're not interested in anything.

3-Expand the coupons to deals for systems(Hardware) to help spur more GCU memberships.

Here's an sample monthly breakdown

3-4 Coupons dedicated to present gen HD systems(PS3/X360/Wii)

3-4 Coupons dedicated to new gen systems (WiiU/PS4/X720)

3-4 Coupons dedicated to PS Vita handheld(this will help increase sales of the vita & software)

3-4 Coupons dedicated to 3DS handheld

3-4 Coupons dedicated to PC games(severly overlooked segment in GC/GCU)

3-4 Coupons dedicated towards used games, accessories, "other" gaming related items & consoles.

You also might wanna consider added a "special" coupon that can be used universally w/an  extended valid period or doesn't expire at all. This will give value to previous outdated mags full of expired coupons which will just get recycled. Just make sure the coupon has deals that are not offset by the $5-$10 mag price.

my biggest gripe/ suggestion regarding the coupons is to stop with single-system coupons for multiplatform games. twice recently there have been coupons that i would've used if they had been for the version of the game i wanted (sleeping dogs most recently). i can't believe i'm the only person who looked at this month's coupons and said "sweet, sleeping dogs," then "!?%#!, only ps3?!"

More coupons and a little more variation on the types of games offered.  I would love a $5 off used game $14.99 or up so that I could have just a little more leeway to save on a used game that usually is not covered by the usual $10 off a used game $29.99 and up coupon in each issue of @Gamer.

I agree too, lots of time the coupons are on games that are on sale at other stores so it makes them feel useless. For example this month Injustice has a $10 coupon for Gamers Unlocked which brings the price down to $50 and this week Toys r Us currently has it on sale for $34.99. I am a new Gamer Unlocked member but I haven't used any of the monthly coupons because there always seems to be a sale at another store for a better price

I haven't used any coupons in the past 6 or 7 months being there wasn't anything I wanted to get or any good coupons to use... I think they do need to up the coupons in the magazine to more than 8 so you can have more games coupons plus still have hardware coupons... And it would be nice if game coupons would be for all console's instead of a certain one at times... The biggest problem I have with the coupons is that most of the time is that the bestbuy store closes to my area doesn't have the game for me to use the coupons on so I miss out on that game and that has happen alot... I wish you could used the coupons online as well...

I would definitely shop at Best Buy more often if they offered more coupons for the Vita/3DS. I often go elsewhere for deals on these and I would love to see more @Gamer coupons for these 2 neglected systems. ( Not by me, but BB Smiley Wink

I agree whole heartily that we need a much more vast array of coupons. It is rather disappointing when you are looking for a gaming coupon for handheld system and come up with nothing month after month.

Also what is up with gaming coupons acting for MSRP drops? I am talking about the Hitman Absolution coupon of Aprils issue. Take $20 off and at the time Hitman was being sold for 39.99. While the entire time thgh game was supposed to be the MSRP of 29.99. I could find Hitman at any retailer for $20 at any point in April, but I held out with not purchasing it and hoped the coupon would work against the true MSRP, but alas, the game remained 39.99 for the coupons entire life span.

What I am saying is make the coupons actually feel like a deal. Don't drop a coupon and get everyone excited, just to have the game above Minimum Suggested Retail Price. That is just deceitful to your loyal customers.

Im just saying the last time i used the coupuns was last june and since then I havnt used one. Also I think you should make the expiration dates a little longer like myabe two months.

also instead of having so many coupouns make one like this.  any game on any system priced 55-65 $ get 25$ off and so on and do this for various price ranges.

I also agree with XvSTRIFEvX. From what i understand from this topic games price drops do not stack with store price drops which i think is wrong. Normal shoppers get should get the deal and we should get the better deal becuase we are subsrcbing for the extra serivce and thefore should get the better deals.

Finally at this point in time in 2 months my mag expires as of now i will not renew.  The thing i used the most and liked is the 20$ coupoun on pre-orders and as now none of the new games coming out have this deal. Such as big blockbusters like killzone, watchdogs, ac4 that are coming out this fall.

Overall I would renew if THe game coupons are better and more broad. give us a little more of a incentive to shop at best buy. Make your sales better then the competion and give us gamer mag subscribers better prices then your average shopper at best buy . aka let the sale prices stack with coupouns and so on. and keep up the pre-order deals my last 5-6 game purchases were from best buy becuase of the pre-order deal. keep that up and I will return to best buy. Also when a game goes on sale such as GOW:A and the maginze coupuns saves you less you feel ripped off. Edge out the comptition prices and Ill keep coming back

The coupons have been horrible the past few months.  They need to be for products people actually want to buy!

More used game coupons

"50% off any used game"

"$10 off any $27.99 game"

"$10 off any $24.99 game'

"$10 off any $19.99 game"
