This will add value to GCU customers who spend alot via items that don`t recieve the 20% discount or other perks.

I think what the Gamers Club already has is good enough.

People keep wanting a bigger and bigger prize for their money spent.  It is going to get to the point that they will have to charge more for the GCU just to break even on it.

The only reason BB has GCU is to try and keep people from buying elsewhere.   But like I type, eventually it could get to the point where it is not worth while.

It already offers 20% off on new games, 10% on pre-owned, and 10% bonus on trade ins.

Most games that would not be included would be older titles where the price has been dropped to the point that giving another 10-15% off, as suggested, would probably end up as a loss for Best Buy.

Plus on select pre-orders you can get $10 in reward certificates.

This is already a pretty good deal.  So if you pre-ordered AC Unity you are getting it for $37

There`s no 20% on digital items and they already can`t sell if for $120 raising the price does nothing. The margins remain the same. I see the value in it but they must get people to pay full price add more.

This is very similar to the idea I posted earlier, except I was pitching for 20% on each game. I'd be happy to just see something for the digital downloader. It's not asking for anything on top existing discounts/rewards, it's just giving digital purchasers an incentive to stick with Best Buy and the GCU program. As it is, I haven't bought anything gaming related at Best Buy since I got my PS4 and went all digital this gen.
