Journey to Vvardenfell in The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind

For many die-hard fans of The Elder Scrolls saga, Vvardenfell holds a special place in their heart.   These are the gamers who fell in love with the series when Bethesda’s Elder Scrolls III released back in 2002, where Morrowind was first introduced.  I am so excited to explore new areas of Tamriel and have fantastic adventures in The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind!  In the game, players will explore the larger area of Morrowind, while helping protect the area from a powerful Daedric threat.

Morrowind

The Elder Scrolls Online is a MMORPG for Xbox One, PS4, OSX, and Windows, that topped 8.5 million players back in February, and that number continues to grow.  Having played this game since release day, I can say that this game has only improved over time.  The developers have really listened to their player base when it comes to making changes and updates, while finding ways to engage and integrate new players to the game.  In The Elder Scrolls Online, you can create and play characters using a variety of race, class, and background archetypes.  Besides having a large campaign to play through, The Elder Scrolls Online currently features a variety of PvP options, and also supports group events, such as dungeons and trials.  It also boasts a lively online community, hosting a huge number of guilds and trading options.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind is a great jumping-in point for new players.  The story has been written so that new players can jump in without needing the context of the rest of the main questlines (though new players will certainly have access to those, as well).  You can feel confident jumping in to play with your friends who already have the core game, as the game scales to your level.

For those of you who have already hit the Veteran Rank cap, don’t worry- there will be plenty of new features for you, too.  Besides opening up the strange and mysterious island of Vvardenfell, The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind also introduces the new Warden class.  Wardens will be able to wield a new nature-based magic class, allowing you to summon a bear companion to fight by your side.  To top it off, all new arena-style battlegrounds, PvP options, a new trial, and new dungeons will become available with the new chapter.

I'm curious as to when "The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind Collector's Edition - Xbox One" is going to be available to order? I have been checking the site ever since the e-mail was sent to me about the upcoming game. I'm a member of the Gamers Club, so naturally, I try to purchase most games here, however, it says "coming soon", everytime I check, not sold out. So what's up with this, why hasn't Best buy open up the Collector's Edition for online purchase? Anyone know?

Hey PaulVaeth!

The full digital download for the Collector's Edition for Xbox One is available, here.

The digital download add-on for the Collector's Edition for Xbox One is available, here.

I believe the version that comes with the physical disc, Dwarven Colossus Statue, and journal was a most likely a limited run, so we probably won't be getting any more in.  I'm pretty sure that edition sold out or came close to it during pre-orders.  Sorry for any disappointment.

See you in Vvardenfell!
