I would sugest an elevated bed. It allows air to flow underneath and help keep your dog from getting to warm. A friend of mine has one like this for her King Charles Cavlier and he loves it.
Many dog beds have sides to help keep the dog cozy. At the least then get a dog bed that does not have side and not a soft so they don't sink in so much.

Thanks for your recommendation and I will look further into it, but what do you think about this {removed per forum guidelines} which is a pet bed? Because aside from keeping your pet cool, these cool pet beds for your pet are also great for soothing sore joints. In addition, a cool dog bed can provide many therapeutic benefits for several skin conditions and can even help in treating a variety of ailments.

Personally I think things like that may be a little bit of a waste of money. It isn't like we keep our house at 85F in the summer and place our dogs bed in the direct sunlight.
We dont' have a summer or winter bed for our dog he simply uses the same beds all year around.

There are special cooling mats for dogs. In the summer it’s a very useful thing, especially if you transport the dog in the car, you can just put it on top of the blanket at home, the dog will be comfortable and not hot
