Whether you are inviting in Trick-or-Treaters, putting a spell on party guests, or making sure that your little ghoul makes it safely to their final resting place (under the covers in bed- what were you thinking I meant ?), Best Buy has the latest tech to support your Halloween Happenings. Let’s hope that we can skip the tricks, and make the treats extra sweet!
Prepare for Trick-or-Treaters
If your Halloween is anything like mine has been the past few years, you’re going to be spending it on the couch watching Hocus Pocus and Over the Garden Wall while snacking on the extra bag of candy you purchased. Make sure you have plenty of time to pause your show by receiving a notification when monsters approach your doorstep through your video doorbell. You can even use motion-activated security lights to help ensure the pathway is lit. Once you have successfully lured them to your lair, keep them warm with a patio heater. If you plan on dressing up as a scarecrow and sitting on the front porch to pull a few tricks of your own, providing a fire pit may be a nice touch.
Prepare to Party
Are you preparing to have your home infested by party animals? Keep the party going throughout your home with smart lighting and smart speakers. Keep everyone properly caffeinated with a coffee, tea, or espresso maker. Of course, you’re going to want to ensure that your network is prepared to handle all your super smart tech, as well as your guests. To make sure your network is ready, check out our handy Wi-Fi Solution tool.
Stay Connected and Visible while Trick-or-Treating
Planning on going Trick-or-Treating? Don’t worry, we have some ideas for you, too. Here in the Midwest, it can get dark early in the evening. Who else braved both the dark and the snow during the Halloween Blizzard of 1991? Keep visible while keeping your hands free for goodies with a headlamp. If your family likes to map out the neighborhood to divide and conquer in your quest to fill up your treat bags, consider purchasing a longer-range two-way radio to keep in touch.
