I just called to make sure that it was accurate. Set the time for 11:00. Spoke with the Asst. Store Manager. He said they're still going through their inventory. He took my name and number and said he has me first on his list to call once he's processed it. He was super nice and helpful.

I bet based on when you preordered, they are changing the status of your order. So first come first serve basis. I preordered on the 16th so I wouldn't be surprised if I didn't get a call or email today or tomorrow. Even though the website isn't clear and can be misleading, its fair and common sense I suppose. I will just have to wait.

Hey mrlatindaddy,

 

I know we are running at least one promotion in conjunction with this launch, but I'm not sure if any info can be shared publicly prior to launch date. I would assume all promotions related to this launch are available in all of our stores. I have reached out to get details, and see what we can share prior to launch day.

I feel the same way, just wait and see. But with the option to have a home delivery on the 28th gives me hope for a store pick up tomorrow. Anxiously waiting for my call back from the manger.

Allan I have appreciated your replies in the thread, but wonder why BB wouldn't want to share promotions before launch day?  I would think certain promotions would sway more customers your way from the beginning.  I know you don't specifically regarding the whys/whynots, but curious indeed.

Hello Allan,

 

How can I check the status of my iPhone 6s Plus preorder?  I preordered mine in-store and got the email confirmation of the order, but it doesn't show up in my Best Buy Online purchase or order history.  I'm Elite Plus so I can usually see all of my transactions.  Can you help at all?  Thanks!

Hey Jsteb63,

 

The trade-in promotion we are running right now is not specific to the iPhone, but it does read like it is only valid with new activations. I have reached out to get clarification from the mobile team, and once I hear back from them I will post back to this thread.

Hey n4uk4mi,

 

We cannot guarantee any pre-orders placed with us will be fulfilled on launch date, but I haven't heard anything indicating that we haven't received enough inventory to fulfill all of our pre-orders. As with any popular item you just won't know for sure, no matter who you order from, until the date of launch.

My thing is, if I dont receive an email by the end of the night is it safe to say I wont be getting one? Just curious how it works with preorders

Hey balkso,

 

I would not suggest going to your local store in the hopes that we have inventory beyond what is being held for pre-orders. I would anticipate that all inventory for these phones will be spoken for on launch date. With that said, if a store does have inventory for a specific model beyond its pre-orders they of course can sell them on a walk-in basis.
