Got confused with this Pre-Order thing, BB website said Pick up on 9/25 so I cancelled mine Pre-Order with AT&T and went to local store to Pre-Order it, even store employee confirmed me that, on 09/25 I will walk away with my pre-ordered phone, but reading several post here, it seems the whole Pick up on Delivery Date 09/25 is misleading.
If BB didnt know about the availibility of device for 09/25 then why it was saying "Pick Up on release Date"
If it wont be available on 09/25, then what are the chances of getting it in following days?
Please kindly help
Thanks

Hi, I preordered the iPhone 6s plus on 9/15 at my local Best Buy. Is there a way to check if it will be available for my appointment (Best Buy employee scheduled me at the time of preorder) on Friday 9/25?

Same here. Order page said pickup on 9-25. Order receipt says pickup on 9-25 at my selected store. Some phones were not available for pickup on that date so I selected one that was. It would be VERY misleading if it's listed for pickup on release day in 2 locations then isn't available.

I'm pretty shocked at the replies on here regarding people thinking they should know by now whether they are getting a phone or not, as well as people that presume solely based off the fact that if you pre-ordered you will get your phone on launch date. The only conclusion I can come to is you've never pre ordered anything before from most any company. When you preorder something that is to come out on a certain date, you really are only putting your name on a list of reserving an item so that when it comes in you are first to get before someone walking in off the streets. The key word(s) to this all is "WHEN IT COME IN". Best Buy (nor any other retailer) has any control regarding shipping habits of a manufacturer or UPS/FEDEX.
Best Buy will get as many phones as Apple will give them. If Apple only gives them 1 of this kind and 13 of another, it's not Best Buy's fault. I can guarantee you that Best Buy didn't request it that way. All retailers want as many of these phones as they can get, but there are only so many to go around at first.
I preordered in the store on Sunday September 13th. All of the employees at the store were geared up with papers to hand out to get you to preorder. The employee that helped me said they hadn't had many preorder for the Plus 64GB on ATT (Silver or Gold I preordered both), and that he was 99% sure I would get one on the 25th. From past experiences with Best Buy (4S), I know that he doesn't have a clue what % chance I would have to get one on the 25th and have curbed my expectations accordingly. If I get it on the 25th, GREAT!. If I don't, okay I will get it eventually. It's not like you win a prize for having it the first day it comes out.
