So I wanted to let everyone know (no one cares Im sure, but I felt obligated to post it since I left a disapraging post above) that I got the phone I ordered.

The day after I posted the last message, it must have come in (Allan.. ???????)

Only two issues:

(1) was told there was a $40 upgrade fee per Verizon. I wasnt aware of this, guess it's standard, but seems pretty crappy plus to only find out about it at the store. Probably would have been nice to have some notice about this.

(2) I thought there was a gift card promotion when I purchased the preorder. It was so long ago I dont remember, When I asked the saleman, he seemed disinterested (not sure I can blame him) and said he wasnt aware of any. This is part of the problem when the order and delivery are so far separated.

Dkeschner-Not Allen, but when I preorder I had to buy a $50 gift card to "hold" my space. I then used this gift card when my phone came in. We are also on Verizon if you stay with their contract plan there is an activation fee for any new phone (whether upgrading a current line or activating a new line). You can stay with the more everything plan and switch to the phone payment plan and that does not have an activation fee you just pay the taxes on the phone. Hope that helps.
