When can customers expect to receive a pre-ordered iPhone?

Pre-orders for the iPhone 6s/6s Plus will be fulfilled as inventory arrives.

What new iPhone accessories will Best Buy have for purchase?

We will have 89 new accessories for the iPhone 6s/6s Plus

Are there any other promotions that go along with the launch of the iPhone 6s/6s Plus?

We have a number of promotions running at this time. Not all of them are specific to the launch of the iPhone 6s/6s Plus, but they can be taken advantage of when purchasing the iPhone 6s/6s Plus.

• Get up to $400 in Best Buy gift cards when trading in any working smartphone and activating new service on Verizon, AT&T, or Sprint.
• Buy one cell phone case and get a second one for 50% off.
• Purchase and activate any iPhone on AT&T Next, and get an iPad mini 2 16gb for $49.99 (two year contract for this iPad with AT&T is required).

When will Best Buy stores receive additional inventory?

Specific product model availability and quantities vary by store. Stores will continue to receive shipments of inventory on an ongoing basis. Customers can check with their local stores and BestBuy.com for updates on product availability.

Can I have the iPhone 6s/6s Plus I order on BestBuy.com shipped to my home?

Yes, provided it is available on BestBuy.com

Will my local store have live display units on launch day?

All stores will have live iPhone 6s demo phones, but not all stores will have the iPhone 6s Plus demo phone.

How will inventory, which is not being held for pre-orders, be handled on Friday September 25th?

There will be a ticketing process, and the tickets will be handed out on a first come/first served basis.

I never received a notification that my iPhone 6s/6s Plus is ready to be picked up, even though I pre-ordered it?

If you haven't received notification that your iPhone 6s/6s Plus is ready to be picked up it means the store didn't receive enough of the model you pre-ordered to fulfill you pre-order at this time, or they haven't physically reserved your pre-order yet with the inventory they did receive.

I tried to preorder the iPhone 6S plus in store and the rep told me you cannot preorder the iPhone if you are purchasing the phone at full price. Is this true? Are you restricted to contracts or purchase plans?

Also one other question. How do you price match bestbuy iPhone 6S price with Apple when you preorder?

Hey KiMoon,

I reached out to this store's management and they would like to see if they could place a pre-order for you at full price. In order to do this we would need to get some personal information; could you send me a private message with your name and phone number? To send me a private message click on the link in my signature.

We should be able to price match a lower price at a local store or found on one of the online retailers we price match; this would be done at the time you pick up the phone, not when you place the pre-order. Apple's website is not an online retailer we price match, but if there is an Apple store within a 25 mile radius of the store you will be picking the phone up at we should be able to take care of you.

Hi Allan,

I just spoke to a CSR at the Mira Mesa store to get some information about pre-ordering the iPhone 6s with a Verizon eligible upgrade with 2-year contract and a trade-in. She was very helpful at explaining the $50 deposit (purchase of $50 Best Buy gift card), which can then be used on the purchase of the phone. I asked her if there was a limit to the number of available pre-orders and if the store was close to hitting it. She informed me that she had not been notified of a pre-order limit, but the pre-order does NOT guarantee me a phone on the day of release. I'm confused as to what the point of a pre-order is if the item is not guaranteed. Is this correct and if so, what is the benefit of me pre-ordering if I'm not guaranteed a phone when I go into Best Buy? At the very least, I would expect a date for when I can pick-up the phone.

Will my full price preorder be unlocked when I pick it up? Or will I have to call at&t to have it unlocked. Also, when it comes to the 50 dollar overchage, im guessing call and have them match the apple.com site?

It is correct that placing a pre-order for any product with Best Buy does not guarantee a customer will receive the item on the date of release, but in most cases they will. The reason for this is that unforeseen circumstances can cause delays in us receiving the items from the manufacturer, or us receiving less inventory that we initially expected to receive from the manufacturer.

Hi bendrumin,

I don't believe we are selling any of these phones unlocked at this time, and if you ordered one that is locked to AT&T you would have to activate service with AT&T in order to use the phone; the same would be true for a phone ordered that is locked to any carrier.
