BestBuy Unlocked phone is: SKU: 5686802
BestBuy Verizon phone is: SKU: 5628100
I currently am slogging along on my galaxy s4 from Verizon. Can I pull the verizon SIM card out of it & activate the $399 LG v20 from best buy? This would save me $273 vs the Verzon LG v20 that best buy also sells?
What are the benefits & drawbacks of each phone? (or are they the same?)
Thank you! --matt

Greetings Matt,
That’s quite impressive, I haven’t seen an S4 that’s still in use out in the wild for quite some time! The technical answer is yes. The universal LG V20 you’re looking at is compatible with CDMA and GSM which should support Verizon. The only differences you’re going to see between the two phones is the software that’s preloaded onto it. The Verizon V20 should have some dedicated apps included that Verizon customers can use. Outside of they are the same phone!
I hope this helps and if you have any additional questions please don’t hesitate to respond!
Respectfully,
