Wanting to leave sprint but just upgraded

Hi on the 8th of this month my wife was eligible for a 2 year upgrade through sprint but was wondering how would we go about canceling sprint in all and returning the phone since its within 14 days and going with a different phone provider? We have been with sprint for over about 10 years and just tired of the crappy service as we pay alot a month and dont feel like we get our moneys worth any info on this matter would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks for your time

Re: Wanting to leave sprint but just upgraded

Hi Andres08dallas,

It seems you are well aware of our 14 day Return & Exchange Promise for carrier connectable devices, and I'm sorry to hear you may be dissatisfied with your current carrier, Sprint. To switch carriers after just upgrading, you would obviously need to perform a return. However, I imagine that if you wish to keep the phone number, you would need to wait for the upgrade to be pushed back to your current Sprint account, which can take a couple of days. If you do not wish to take the phone number with you, you may be able to perform the switch without any trouble right away.

Given this information, I would encourage you to visit your local Best Buy to speak with a Mobile Sales Associate about your options, as they will be able to pull up your account and speak more specifically about the process. While not guaranteed, we may also be able to partner with Sprint to assist in getting the upgrade pushed back sooner.

Sincerely,
