Regarding the Virgin Mobile Free Streaming music promotion.
Does this then also require a paid account with iHeartRadio, Pandora or Slacker Radio or can one simply use the free account?

From what I'm aware of in discussions with my Virgin Mobile vendor rep, it includes the free accounts as well.

Hey bobberuchi,
I know if I'm out and about, I probably have my headphones in and I'm streaming music. To not use up so much of my limited data would be marvelous, so this looks like a fantastic plan! From what I've found, it looks like it should be available with the free accounts, although you should be able to subscribe to any respective paid accounts if you wish.
Happy streaming!

I am actually getting a pair of phones for my twins 13th birthday coming up in 12 days. I want to go no contract because honestly I do not trust one of them to control data use.
Many of the no contract companies have about the same price per month, with different data allowances.
The Virgin Mobile allowance is actually 3 GB at 3/4g and then 1 g for the rest to the time frame.
At this point with prices similar it really is an issue of a better quality phone. Some of the carriers their phone just look cheap.
I was in a competitor on Wednesday and he honestly recommended the HTC desire based on the phones that the least number of people have complained about. Though he was pushing Crickett wireless
I went into my local BB store last night and the cell phone associate pretty much said the same thing. But she also recommended the LG Tribute. a number of the carriers utilize the same phones. Though Virgin says they could send a sim to work in most any phone on their system.
So at the end of the day the streaming music is a selling point, and I will get it at Best Buy so I can get the protection plan, which is better quality in my experience than other stores.
