What devices would the apple care apply to? Is there anything I would have to do to register AppleCare with total tech? I just ordered the iPhone 14 pro and haven’t added applecare yet. Totaltech seems like a better deal since it gives you money off of other things for the same price as regular apple care.

AppleCare+, or any included protection, is registered automatically. When you make a purchase online or in store, just be sure to be signed in with your account with Totaltech attached to have the protection added automatically.
