Question: If I pre-order online what are the estimated arrival dates if I were to have it shipped to my home? I am an Elite Plus member if that makes a difference.

I am wondering if it is possible to put down a larger down payment when pre ordering a Samsung S8 phone so that the monthly payments will be less? Or, is doing such a thing only possible when the phone is actually available?

Since inventory is operating off of a first come first save system, depending on when you created your pre-order most will ship out and arrive on the date of release. You will be getting an email confirming the shipment and a tracking number once it's on the way.

Currently AT&T is the only carrier which you can apply a larger deposit at the time of placing the pre-order. For Verizon and Sprint, you would have to wait until the phone is actually released and you begin the activation process.

Im concerned about the Best Buy Pre-order offer of up to $100 off the phone plus the carrier's incentives. I pre-ordered the s8+ from my local store but do not see a discount on my sales agreement. Unless the discount will be added at checkout...

Hi,

I was wondering if I preorder an S8 through my carrier, would I be able to go into BestBuy with that device to have a screen protector installed for the $7.99 fee? Also how busy are stores usually when a new phone releases like this? I am just curious due to all the terrible online reviews about S7 Edge screen protectors and how they recommend coming into BestBuy to have it professionally installed instead of self installation.

I am hoping that there is not a scam going on here, but Samsungs promotion site has no place to submit a claim, and I noticed that the VR bundle was for valid purchases with the last day being the 20th of April.  I preordered my S8+ today with the ATT carrier but all I got was a pre-order agreement.  There was no receipt and I didn't pay any money.  How in the world am I supposed to get the VR if the phones won't even be shipped out till at least the 21st?  By the time I get my phone, pay the sales tax and get it activated the promotional time of 20 April will be over.

So I'm stuck on a contract for like 3 months with sprint on a really old and crappy phone. Can I buy an s8, the sprint version and go without a plan until my contract runs out? Or no?
