I preordered my S7 edge silver on the 02/25/16 and it was moved from processing to preparing and my Verizon account went from month to month to a contract end date for 2 years.  Now I look and it is all back to processing and Verizon account says month to month.  I took the day off work on the 11th to sign for this phone will it still be delivered on the 11th??  Will the memory card and Gear VR be delivered at the same time?  My other order for the same phone different color shipped and arrived and was ordered 4 days after this order not sure why my first order hasn't shipped and changed status?

Hi there junfeter, 

 

We are doing our best to fulfill all orders as inventory allows, as you can see by an order of yours for a different model that was fulfilled although it was placed after your original. Presently, I see that your original order's free items are awaiting shipment at the warehouse, while the phone is pending release, which indicates it is still awaiting inventory. Given this information, everything appears normal and we will fulfill it once inventory is available.

Does this mean it will arrive the 11th as stated by Best Buy when I ordered the phone. Appears my order was being processed and now us waiting inventory why would this happen? Was my order used for someone else? I'm taking off work to get this phone. The accessories don't do me much good without the phone. Sad memory card doesn't ship with the phone. Will a signature be required for each item as it arrives at different times? Thank you.

Hello junfeter, 

 

While I'm unable to speak to what may have occurred with your order status, I can assure you that we will be fulfilling pre-orders as inventory for each model allows, in the order they are received. Of course with all pre-orders, we do our best to ensure they are received as close to the release date as possible. In regards to the free items, they may ship sooner than the phone, but do not appear to require a signature.

So taking the day off is not needed and can be a complete waste of my time? Very disappointing I will see if I can call get it changed to store pickup and complain on Facebook to Best Buy so others aren't wasting time off work. Unbelievable to say the least but with the past issues I've had with BB I should have not expected anything else but terrible service.

Pre-ordered (right at the opening bell ;-) Galaxy S7 Edge (Verizon) arrived today. Thanks Best Buy!!

Did you get the silver or black one? Black edge I ordered arrived but silver that was ordered 4 days earlier day announced and I got nothing updated on my order. Glad you got your phone Smiley Happy.

Is there any way to switch a preorder to another store? I just called the mobile store in the mall directly across the street from the best buy I preordered at and they have the exact phone in-stock for walk-in customers.

I contacted BB and they could not switch my order to a store. Mine phone still hasn't shipped. Hope you can change yours to in store pickup.
