I just seen that the gear vr and memory card says preparing but the phone still stuck. A couple my friends said they got the email for the tracking number from bestbuy. I'm just worried mine won't go through

I'm having the same issue, but in-store.  My VR and SD card were ready to pick up, but not the phone.  I called the store and they said to just come in and it should be set to go.  Wrong.

 

I was able to pick up the VR and SD card, but the phone was a no go. The phone was authorized to be released, despite other customers coming in while I was waiting and successfully picking up their phones.  They had me call corporate, and after an hour on hold, I was told there was a backend problem and it would just have to work itself out.  So I ended up leaving Best Buy with the free bonus items, but not the big ticket phone.  (???)

 

They said I should receive an email when the phone is ready, but ugh, what a frustrating experience.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us! I'm discouraged to hear your experience at the store wasn't what you anticipated. With the early fulfillment of some pre-orders, it is great to hear that some customers are able to pick up their phones today!

 

However, I'm sorry if this wasn't the case for you. While I'm glad to hear that your promotional items were able to be picked up, it sounds like your actual phone may not have been pulled for fulfillment yet. I imagine that this will come later as we continue to receive inventory and fulfill pre-orders.

It just sucks to see people who order after you get there phones way before you do :/

that does suck.

 

on a brighter note, best buy shipped out my phone today and it's going to be here tomorrow.  i honestly never thought best buy would do overnight shipping, so this is a pleasant surprise!  looks like phone/vr shipped, but SD card hasn't.

 

either way, that's pretty awesome of best buy.  verizon doesn't even do overnight!

I am getting upset I got an email that my phone is delayed 30 days but yet my friend who order from bestbuy a few days after me just got his yesterday same color how is it y'all send him his phone but not mine it makes no sense.

Galaxy S7 Edge (Sprint) - Delay???

I pre-ordered my phone on the 24th of February.  On March 6th Best Buy updated my expected release date from March 11th to March 7th...I woke up this morning to a new message saying that my delivery has been delayed and that I should receive my Galaxy S7 Edge within 30 days....

 

What?! How does a complany upgrade a shipping date by a week...only to downgrade up to 30 days????

 

This is unacceptable and I would love to receive some answers.

Hello everyone! 

It's great to hear that some of you have been able to receive your phone, or at least see it ship! With that said, I am sorry if the early fulfillment notification and process excited you, just to have you find your order may be delayed. 

We do our best to fulfill pre-orders in a timely manner as inventory is received. With that said, as you check with family and friends who may have also pre-ordered, or even update us here regarding your own pre-order, please be aware that fulfilling each order is subject to factors such as inventory of each model received in your particular area.
