What a shame. I went to the store this morning to get my AT&T S6 and guess what, they don't have it. This really ticks me off. I have to work and can't make it back to the store today. I was so looking forward to having my phone today. I am really upset. I am seriously considering just going to AT&T to pick up my phone.

Same problem.. Can someone from best buy help out us at&t customers. If I wanted ed the phone 2 weeks after release I would have not pre-order it. Thanks

Hi rakesh1523,

 

If your local store doesn't have your model you will have to wait until they do get the unit. This could be later today or on a future date. As I mentioned earlier today I haven't heard that any store would not be receiving their orders for these phones today, but it is of course possible. Pre-ordering an item does not guarantee you will receive that item on the date of release.

Yes, nothing is guaranteed. However, it is a major fail for a company to fail its customers on such a large and important scale. As I said earlier, a later delivery doesn't help me. You can continue to spin it however you like but there are many upset customer. Now I will have to fight the crowds on Saturday morning and that is something I don't look forward to.

Exactly. It might not be guaranteed, but what is guaranteed is if I don't get this phone today, I won't be pre-ordering or buying another phone from Bestbuy in the future.

Hello Rakesh1523,

 

  Im dont believe what mr Bill|Senior Social Media Specialist is tell you is true.  I preorder my galaxy s6 edge on Mach 27 the first day best buy opened there pre orders.  Today is the release date April 10th 2015.  I just left the store where I'm supposed to pick up my phone and was told they do not have it, maybe in a week I can come back too pick up my phone.  Highly disappointed in Best buy!!!

At least best buy could have done is warn its customers that they were going to fail in providing the phones on April 10th.  An email, putting the information on there web sites, or something.  Instead you have to sit by idle with your fingers cross hoping your get an emial saying your order is ready.

Hey Everyone,

 

I just heard back from the business team and they did inform me that some AT&T customers may not receive their device today, but they are working on rushing the inventory to these stores as soon as they can.

Just a quick update, I just got an email / text saying my phone is now ready for pickup, ATT 64gb Edge, I am guessing it was a late UPS delivery... good luck to the rest of you!
