Hi, I preordered the galaxy S6 regular 32 gb, but it hasn't shipped. I called the customer support and they gave me an ETA of mid May for delivery to me. That's quite a while to wait. They also told me the order cannot be cancelled. I have to wait for the phone to be delivered to me then return it. Is this true (I have to wait 4-6 weeks) ? The AT&T stores around here have it in stock, but I cannot purchase it from them because the phone I preordered from BestBuy used my upgrade eilgibility for AT&T.

I looked at your order and it might be possible to cancel the S6 part of your order, but the other items cannot be canceled in the status they are in; this means if you do cancel the S6 part of your order you will lose all discounts on the other items that were tied to the S6 and will be charged for these items. Do you want me to see if the S6 part of your order can be cancelled?

You have 15 days to return or exchange the items you've received without a restocking fee, but you will be charged for them until they are returned.

Yes, the vast majority of items purchased on BestBuy.com can be returned to a Best Buy store. Larger items like large appliances need to be picked up by a delivery team to be returned.
I went ahead and tried to cancel the order of this S6 and our system would not allow it. My guess would be that in the current state of your order the item would ship out regardless of whether the line item was cancelled. I wish I had better news for you. At this point the only option is to wait for it to ship out.

Is there any real reason for me to be pre-ordering items? It seems like the pre-order benefits stayed after launch anyway, and if I didn't pre-order I would have had the phone on launch day instead of having to wait 1.5 months.

I pre-ordered the AT&T S6 Edge, 64GB and have yet to be told that it has arrived. Would be nice BestBuy planned on fulfilling preorders before letting people walk out with the phone.

I hear where you are coming from on this. I did look at your order again, and the status of the S6 order is Shipped and Invoiced. I don't have tracking information for this shipment as it is being shipped directly from the vendor. Just thought I should give you an update on this.
