I called Samsung and they said they would see what they could do after the date but there was no guarantee... this is a complete mess on Best Buys part

Best Buy is playing games. If Samsung has the phone , then somebody is lying!! I hope we don't have to wait another month for this phone. This mess is ridiculous!!!

Wow I can't believe this is still going on . I think the deadline for the free galaxy buds is in 2 days. Some sort of offer has to be given, this is ridiculous.

Pre-order period: 2/21/19 - 3/7/19
Redemption period: 3/3/19 - 4/4/19
Resubmission deadline: 4/11/19

The buds are already gone. Samsung is issuing gift cards for $130 that will take 4-6 weeks to receive.

And everyone else: if you want to grab your device anywhere else AND you have some proof of your pre-order from Best Buy, you CAN go get that device, cancel the pre-order but still use the proof of pre-order to satisfy the bonus deal.

I did it, it worked, and I was told by the Samsung guy working at Best Buy that it would work out fine. My status was approved in ~45 minutes surprisingly.

Now, it'll take 4-6 weeks to get the gift card mailed (but I think the code they give you works as a card immediately), so by then your original pre-order might actually arrive.

I went to sprint and got my phone today and registered using my best buy pre order receipt. Its Under review now for the headphones, fingers crossed. I will then cancel my best buy order. Sorry best buy you lost out on a sale and my accessories purchase I made at Sprint.

If I had known it would work, I'd have done it the first time it got delayed. But I was told otherwise by Samsung. I'm glad I did it, otherwise I'd still be on my old phone with $1000 less in my pocket for no reason.

Do I called corporate today and discussed my dilemma with this dang preordered. She gave me a case number so that I can pick the phone up from another location. I'm gonna NG to try tomorrow and see if I get it! Fingers crossed! You guys might can try that!

but how do you redeem the Galaxy Buds offer if you need to redeem it through Shop Samsung on the new phone?

They ask for just the picture of your pre order receipt. Originally they said it was tired to the device but it is not.
