Two questions:
1. How do I get the offer? When I try to pre-order on BestBuy.com, I don't see it saying that I will get a second phone. I chose Add a Line to my Verizon account and all I see is the monthly cost for the phone, an activation fee, and taxes for 1 phone.
2. Is the second phone just a phone without needing service? I don't see the fine print anywhere saying that it needs to be a tied to a line.
Thanks for your reply in advance.

Hey Wai,
The get one phone for Verizon does also have to be put onto a Verizon Device Payment plan as noted in the terms and conditions. Savings will be deducted off the full total price of the device and will be reflected in reduced monthly payments over the life of the device. The life of the device is the length of the Verizon Device Payment set up on your account. Somewhere between one to three billing cycles, you will begin to receive the above-described bill credit from Verizon.
You will need to add the second device to your cart. At least one of the two lines must be a new or add-line. So, if you are brand new to Verizon, not to worry as both lines will be new lines. If you are a current Verizon customer, you will need to add a new line to your account.
At the checkout of both devices, you may be charged the tax due on both devices. You may also be charged the up to a $30 activation fee on both devices.
Let us know if you have any additional questions,

Hey Tameem,
I was able to confirm that our stores should be able to pre-order the 128GB unlocked version for you, assuming they have not reached their maximum number of pre-orders for the one you are interested in receiving.
If you are interested in the 512GB model, that is only available in select stores but may be pre-ordered online.

Hi there,
I put in an order a couple days ago for the 128GB AT&T Note 9, which said it should be available on release of August 24th. I cancelled my 128GB order a little bit ago and decided to upgrade to the 512GB instead and noticed that, while it still lets me preorder, where it said the "Available for pickup on August 24th" for the 128GB now says "Available to preorder - we'll let you know when it's ready to ship" instead for the 512GB (though the option to preorder is still there).
I'm not sure if this is just a technical issue because other carriers have the Preorder option greyed out indicating that they're sold out. Or is AT&T/Best Buy taking preorders beyond available stock? I don't want to preorder the 512GB and find out that I won't receive it until weeks later, or to preorder the 128GB and find out the "We'll let you know when it's ready to ship" was just a placeholder or technical issue.
Thanks for your time!

Hey Colton,
We are anticipating being in limited supply of the 512GB at release and would not be able to guarantee release day shipping at this time. It is possible that you will not receive the 512GB version on the actual release date but instead in the weeks following.

I am planning to pre-order the Note 9 via bestbuy.com. There is a trade-in offer which gives me $450 for my Galaxy S8. Do I have to go the store for the trade or is there an option on the site?
Thanks
