Hi @MRED2
I don't work for BB, but I have some experience with phone carriers and here is my take...
You can order two phones and keep your phone numbers and plans. Best Buy can process an upgrade on your Verizon account just fine. Sounds like your phones are older and so you should have an upgrade available.
Your numbes will transfer to the new phones when BB activates them, yes.
Looks like Verizon has a $30 per line upgrade fee if you upgrade on the payment plan through VZ, it may be possible to avoid if you pay up front in full or buy them on a Best Buy credit.
You don't have to contact Verizon, Best Buy will take care of everything.
I'm glad you asked about the price, because this is where you would have been shocked... Verizon's version of the phone is actually the most expensive, the smaller Galaxy S9 is $800 on Verizon, so the price is $800 + Tax - $100. Or if you buy an unlocked version, it's $720 + Tax, but no $100 credit per Best Buy's fine print.
To get a $100 off, you have to preorder in store this Friday, it's one day only.

Hi Javier,
I have a Galaxy S7 from Verizon. I plan on trading it it for $300 and taking advantage of the $100 savings during preorder on 3/2. Can I preorder online and take advantage of the $100 savings without having to stand in long lines at Best Buy? And will I be able to combine the $300 and $100 discount to the $800 S9 and only end up paying $400 plus original taxes?

MRED2,
If you have upgrades available, you are able to keep your existing numbers.
The entire activation process will be taken care of at your local store for in-store pre-orders or will arrive pre-activated if you choose shipping.
Each carrier has their own guidelines for activation fees. Consult your carrier for additional details on what those may be.
Contacting Verizon may or may not be necessary depending on if you activate in-store or in your home.
With no trade in, the pricing would be $100 off the retail price plus tax.
Respectfully,

So is it the Trade In offer that's in store only? Or both can be processed online?
My local Best Buy said they won't be taking any pre-orders as their location is closing at the end of this month. I already planned to order the phone from Samsung.com, but if I can do it with Best Buy online, I'd rather do that.
