Online Order S9

Pre-ordered on 3/2. Still have not received a tracking email but status says shipped.

S9+ pre order

I preordered the s9+ unlocked blue on 3/13 via bestbuy.com, and selected in store pick up since the system stated it would be ready for pick up on 3/16. My order is still stuck in processing. With that said, I’m going to be able to pick up my order on 3/16 or will I have to cancel? Any information you guys can provide will be greatly appreciated.

My order status online has shown "preparing" since yesterday morning... I called Best buy a few minutes ago to check my order status and the automated system gave me a tracking number and ups online states it is out for delivery today...
So it seems whatever the online status shows isn't necessarily the case

My experience...I pre-ordered two Galaxy S8+s last year via BB. Great experience. Received a couple of days before release date. This year pre-ordered a S9+ during first 30 mins of pre-order window. All going well until 3/13. Some sort of error between BB and ATT. After a couple of calls, BB mobile back office team could only offer cancelling my order. I sought empathy from both BB and ATT...ATT would place pre-order for me but of course $100 more. BB suggested going to their 0hysical store to pre-order. I went this route and have another one ordered. Of course I am now in the back of the line, can never recover my lost sleep for first pre-order and time spent placing second pre-order...hoping this one works out. Seriously a first world problem. Tough being stuck between two large corps.

Mine says it's ready for pick up on Friday... but I'm wondering if I can go pick it up today... I'm tired of waiting.

S9+ Preorder

Good morning,

 

I was wondering if there was a way I could follow up with my S9+ preorder. I placed my order online on 03/02/18 and chose "In-store Pickup". As of today it still shows my orrder status as "Preorder" and my credit card has not been charged yet. I want to make certain that I am able to pick up the phone on 03/16/18.

 

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Hi Gvl718,

 

There are no guarantees, but it sounds like your preorder is being processed as it should be. Assuming the store you are picking this phone up from gets enough inventory to fulfill your preorder, they should be "picking" the order sometime tomorrow. Once the order is "picked" you should receive an email advising you that your phone is ready to be picked up at this store.
