I’m sorry to hear that your husband’s phone is experiencing these issues. It certainly sounds like a weird situation. Generally, the manufacturer will have a one year warranty for most defects, but you would need to reach out to Samsung for details on how to utilize that warranty. Check with your local store as well to see if they have a Samsung Experience Shop in it (you can see for sure by visiting http://stores.bestbuy.com/). I know the SES we have in my store has Samsung reps that have great tools for troubleshooting (and often fixing) issues on site!
