I want to have a prepaid phone sent to a house I will be staying at when I visit Californai. I don't understand, do the no contract phones like the ones that cost $20-30 come with a few hours talk time? Some of they say you can talk 3 hours but is that battery time or talk time. The web site does not say on any phone that it has pre paid time you can talk, so I don't get it.

Typically prepaid or no-contract phones do not come with minutes, so you would need to purchase the cards for the prepaid minutes here. With that said, I believe the 3 hours you are seeing would be an estimated battery life based on talk time, although this would greatly vary based on the use of the phone.
