Hi Ben-Sterling! Thank you for using the Best Buy forums,
It is my understanding that you want recommendations on which brand you should get as a phone.. if you don't mind letting me know what it is exactly that you're looking for? What kind of capabilities are you looking for?
Thanks,

At the end of the day the operating system on Androids phones is what gives you access to applicaitons and everthing you do on your phone.
The difference will come down to the quality of the phone iteself.
How fast it will run.
How long the battery will last between charges with your usage.
the quality of the video
the quality of the glass
etc.
To that end for the last 6 years I have owned Samsung Galaxy Smart Phone Phones. They have all been better than the last and I have never had an issue with my Samsung Galaxy Phones.
However, now I own a Google Pixel 2XL. In my opinion this phone is many levels above my last Galaxy S6. The battery lasts LONG time, the glass is very smooth. Cleans easy and is very scratch resistent.
The Video and sound quality (with headphones) is exceptionally good.
Wait for a sale. I got mine for $400 off with 2 year contract and montly payments.
The only drawback for was the phone is so thin and the case is so smooth it is easy to drop. But a Speck Case fixed that.
I have always been a fan of how good the camera is on my wife's iPhones. Now, however, she goes on and on about how good the camera on my phone is.
The Pixel was built and designed to 100% integrate with your Google Account and everything Google.

I can definitely echo bobberuchi's sentiments. I love my Pixel 2XL, and if photos are important to you, you won't be dissapointed. I have a new baby at home and am so thankful for my phone's camera. Google also gives Pixel owners unlimited photo and video backup at full resolution, which means I can literally take thousands of pictures of my little guy and never worry about storage or losing the memories. I love it!

And I have used that photo cabability to easily send photos to email from my laptop.
And that also makes it lot easier to delete photos off your phone. By using your computer

Samsung Galaxy S9. The last model. The camera with a double aperture sees the world like a human eye. It automatically switches between different lighting conditions, making your photos perfect regardless of the time of day.

I love the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. It's worth every cent.

If I don't get another Pixel in 16 months I will certainly go back to Samsung Galaxy. I have been very happy with the 3 Galaxys's I have had and my Pixel 2
