The M7 phone is 2 years old.  Try looking for the M8 or the New M9

Re: HTC One M7 - ATT

Hello Shaikbasha84,

That's a nice phone you're looking it. I was sincerely debating getting the M7 when I was up for an upgrade last year. After pulling the item and your Best Buy account using the information found on your forum profile, it seems we don't have this particular phone in your local demographic. As the device isn't available for shipping, it seems it might not be a feasible option.

Having said this, I'd be happy to help you find a comparable phone. Like radisri mentioned, there are a couple of newer models of the phone, but let me know if you would like further assistance.

Best wishes,

Re: HTC One M7 - ATT

Search the internet for "HTC m7 camera issues". You will find that there are myriad problems with the m7 camera (Purple tinting, and in some cases, green tinting.) These camera problems cannot be rectified through software, it is a harware issuse.

I'm currently being issued a fith phone because of the HTC m7 camera problem. I'm fairly certain the Geek Squad cannot fix the issue without applying a new udated part from HTC, so I will be in perpetual replacement untl I get a good working camera. Try telling that to GS, they won't listen.

In other words, stay away from HTC m7, you will only regret it later.

As far as camera repair, I've read that HTC will repair the phone with a new and updated camera module for $90 USD, or if you're lucky they will repair it for free, if it's out of warranty.

Re: HTC One M7 - ATT

I owned the M7 several phones ago, and it was a great phone. I did not have the camera issues that some people have reported. You can still find them used quite cheaply, but you are going to have trouble finding them new, as they are several models back. I would go for an M8 or M9, if you like to stick to the One line.

Doesn't matter the thread age, as people are still buying the m7, yep, you can still buy them.
In fact I'm on m7 number 6! That's right, best buy has sent 6 broken m7 to me.

Re: HTC One M7 - ATT

Also, and ya, you're right, this thread is old, but there's people that still have the m7. Considering that the phone at the time was around $700US, the m7 should last a long time, and it takes 2 years to pay off (through the phone bill), it doesn't seem equitable to re-purchase a new model phone, because the m7 (if not for the camera issues) is still a very good phone and can be updated to Android Lollipop (5.0.2). Best Buy/Geek Squad does not seem to get their act together when it comes to me and my phone. I have, literally, been sent 5 htc m7's all with issues. 3 with purple camera tint, 1 with green tint, and 1 that the digitizer didn't work... it's as if no one even looked at the phone before it left the service dept. The latest (5th) m7 has green tint, and a sliver of plastic shaved off, it's display is crooked within the body, and the speaker grills are uneven. Some one is laughing all the way to the bank, and it's definitely NOT me.
