HTC Mogul

I'm going to be honest with you, I feel that the HTC Mogul is one of the better phones available today. Yes it is very similar to the T-Mobile Wing, but not software-wise. Especially with the new ROM update that includes SprintTV, Sprint Navigation, and Windows Mobile 6.1. The other thing I like about this phone and the software is that you can download/install other phone's software on it if you'd like to add some different features or programs. Like, if you want the best internet browser ever created for mobile phones, you can use SkyFire. Skyfire displayes every page just like a computer would, and includes java and flash banners, ads, whatever! And if you love instant messenging, you can get the Webmessenger software and run up to 7 different IM programs all in one, instead of using 1 program for each IM provider. The navigation is great, and even talks to you if you rather not have to look at the screen all the time. The SprintTV is great and offers the NFL Network free. There's so many other features/programs that I have installed that make the phone great. I love it and doubt I will want to get rid of this phone for a long time! I really think this phone is better than a lot of phones and way better than the iPhone! If you are looking for a cool, and easy to use phone, check out the HTC Mogul!

Hi Phil,

I agree with you - the Mogul is an awesome cell phone.  I thought about getting that as my business phone, but decided to go with the Tilt.  At the time, the Mogul’s GPS functionality hadn’t been enabled.  Besides being a powerful and awesome cell phone, the Tilt looks way cool when it “tilts.”  It’s like have a mini-laptop with me in meetings.

Sincerely,

Gina

Re: HTC Mogul

Is that the phone with Verizon? Where it's touch screen on the front, then flips open/tilts open, and has the screen, and keyboard inside as well?

Hi Phil,

My Tilt
(HTC 8925)
is with AT&T. The touch screen is on the front of the
phone. It slides open and then “tilts” up about forty degrees
so you can use the QWERTY keyboard. It has high-speed internet on it which
I use all the time. I also like the phone’s built in GPS capabilities.
The GPS comes in handy since I occasionally travel to different states for
work. I previously had a 6700. I find the Tilt very similar. However, I
think the buttons on the Tilt’s keyboard do feel a little weird. Since
I am constantly dropping my phone (note: not recommended ?) I keep it in
a hard plastic case. To date, I have broken two cases but not damaged my
phone. I use a microSD card with the phone, but don’t take advantage
of its MP3 player.

Re: HTC Mogul

LOL @ the "not recommended" comment. When I first saw the picture, I thought, "that looks just like my Mogul" but when I seen that it's made by HTC, I realized, of course, their phones will all sort of resemble each other. Cool phone though. I like the GPS feature, and use the Windows Media Player often. I just wish the SprintTV had more free shows/chanels lol.
