Hi,
I purchased a AT&T iphone X 64gb from Best Buy in San Francisco on November 3rd. I paid for it in full. ($1,099 + TAX) I activated it with a Cricket wireless simcard and the phone now appears locked. I've tried a sprint/ t-mobile sim and i get the same "carrier not supported" message.
My 14 day return policy ends tomorrow and I would like to know, it is possible to unlock this phone for international use?. If not, I've no choice but to return it.
I plan on travelling internationally over the Christmas holiday and I need my iphone to work with a UK/Irish sim card as Cricket don't support roaming very well.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Micky

Hey mickysull158,
The iPhone X sold in the U.S. is intended to be used in the U.S. and as so cannot be activated onto carrier service outside the U.S.
Thanks,
