I think it would be amazing if we changed our pre-owned prices to reflect the Reward Zone gamer unlocked prices. This would drive more awareness of RZ gamer unlocked and create loyalty for our customers, and save them money.
Example : Pre Owned Game Price 44.99 RZ gamer unlocked price : 39.99 ![]()
Thank you,

Put a section on the website for people who received Gift Cards for the Holidays or for any reason that focuses on the best items to buy based on the dollar amount.
Section: Best things to Buy with a $25 Gift Card
...$50 Gift Card
...$100 Gift Card
etc
Greetings!
After watching/partaking in the event which is the UMF(www.ultramusicfestival.com), hosted in Miami, Florida, I had a bit of an realization of what an great chance this could be for Best Buy.
Goal : Prove/show to Best Buy that helping host and/or sponsor the UMF would be very beneficial to a targeted customer base, and would be a great opportunity for advertising and cross brand sponsorships.
Rationales:
1) The UMF event last year drew over 100,000 fans, for the three day event, and this year, had over 35000 viewers streaming it live on YouTube. This vast number of people also would represent a wide, yet targetable demographic. This would create a huge marketing opportunity, and with Best Buy's support, possibly even make the event larger than it is, and bring more awareness and advertising potential to the online arena during streaming.
2) The DJ's. The UMF attracts the largest names in electronica. Most notables include Armin Van Buuren, Bass Nectar, Justice, Fat Boy Slim, Skrillex, and the list goes on. Again the possibility of cross brand sponsorships and partnerships would be huge. This could include marketing possibly including the UMF logo for Best Buy.
3) Actual brand/logo usage. The UMF, and most electronica culture is about brands, logos, and recognition of such. Best Buy would have the ability to bring the UMF to a more center stage, and likewise, be able to bring the Best Buy logo to over a hundred thousand people through out the event. This would give Best Buy ample, and a great advantage, in that so far, no other retailer direct consumer retailer has taken part or put their name on the event, giving Best Buy quite an opportunity to stand out from other retailers.
4) Promotion of products. Best Buy carries a wide variety of DJ equipment already, meaning this sponsorship could easily slide into current marketing campaigns. I would hope that most of the DJ companies would be quite ready and willing to help with this, since this would be an direct marketing opportunity to their demographic.
Summation : Best Buy sponsorship of the UMF would be a great advertising tool, social media opportunity, and a very energetic way to promote brands that Best Buy carries, and it's image.
Thanks!
Since its launch in 2008, the Best Buy Community has had a mobile version. Currently, many people are increasingly using mobile apps; however, there aren't really any good tech support apps. Launch a mobile app for customers, employees and superusers who are on the go and want to participate in the Community.
Sorry to hear about the troubles you have had trying to get a hold of us. We actually provide a number of avenues for customer service, including sending us an email. To send us an email just click on the Contact Us link in the footer of BestBuy.com. Calling 1-888-BestBuy will usually get the most immediate results. Sorry you couldn't find the link to send us an email.
Hi There
The upgrade promotion was great and I've traded in about 60 or 70 old DVDs for new Blu-rays, spending hundreds of dollars at various NYC locations.
But I could have spent a whole lot more!
You should allow people to trade in DVDs not only for a $5 coupon, but also for a $4 coupon and let us buy Blu-rays priced at $7.99 for $3.99 with the coupon!
Since many Blu-rays are priced $7.99 - I will be first in line to trade in many more DVDs.

That way if you know what you want you can setup an appointment with a blue shirt for faster checkout service and better advice on a product. Would kind of defeat the purpose of in store pickup though, But hey, if the Apple Store has appointments on their floor for specialists to help you, so can Best Buy ![]()
Customer from Amarillo, TX posted on the Forum board that he's a senior citizen and has arthritis which is preventing him from walking a lot. He said it would be very beneficial for us to have electric carts available for those customers with disabilities. We offer wheelchairs, but that can often be difficult for our elderly customers. Electric carts for Baby Boomers! Thank you, Marti
I really like getting my gift cards at Giant Eagle for the sole purpose of getting perks, but its convenient to purchase all my gift cards at one location and not going to each store to purchase. I have always got my gift cards and especially my BEST BUY gift cards there and I contacted Giant Eagle about my concern of this, and they said it was beyond their control and that it was Best Buys decision not Giant Eagles and that Best Buy pulled them from their shelves. The service lady at Giant Eagle told me that she gets over 5 phone calls a day about the BB gift cards not being on the gift card rack at Giant Eagle. I believe that Best Buy should return their gift cards to Giant eagle for their customer to purchase the gift cards to spend in their stores.
Now who's with me!?!? Let our voices be heard people, lets not let this big box store take over they already ran out a competitor a few years back, soon it'll be a monopoly if we don't stand our grounds people. Either give us what we like/want or we wont shop at your store and go elsewhere or online where prices are cheaper anyway, just have to wait for shipping.
I had this idea a while ago to partner with book stores on university campuses to offer financing on books tablets and laptops. This would also allow best buy mobile to have a presence on many campuses offer services plans to students and financing making school more affordable to all with no interest financing. Also best buy would be able to help university offer the best technology to its students. I have a good better best out line kind of worked up as well.
I started a thread in one of the other forums about this topic, and one of the commenters suggested it might be better to bring up this topic here.
Here's the link to the thread:
I hope someone at Best Buy who has an open mind, will actually read my post(s) and respond. So far, on that other thread, only non-employees have replied with their opinions. I'd like to see an actual reply from someone at Best Buy.
I can say this isn't the first time I have heard this, and to be honest I understand both sides of this concern. I can say that we do have valid internal reasons as to why these signs are up, and to be honest it is unlikely that we would be taking the signs down.
With that said I would like to hear from other customers/employees as to whether they find value in this signs, and why? I realize that fuel efficiency discussions can be a heated topic, and I would urge everyone to remain as professional as possible in their comments.
I think Best Buy should have Gold Members, for those people that spend beyond what the silver program offers. The silver program is great and I have been apart of it for a couple of years, it has awesome perks. Gold Members should have better perks, like upgraded shipping on certain items, 35% more points for reward zone and receive frequent coupons and private shopping event experiences and at Christmas time, a separate line for check out for these members.
Hello,
I have a few suggestions that I feel would help the overall process of researching products for a new purchase.
First, it would be nice if you could filter product searches by more than one brand name. The vast majority of people tend to be loyal to a handful (2 or 3) of particular brands, by allowing the user to filter to their desired brands they increase the efficiency of comparing like models from different brands. The current system is a bit cumbersome to perform this task.
My second suggestion is in line with the first, being when a user selects a product to review provide a “similar product” section that allows the user to select a like product to compare the item they are looking at against.
Both of these items address my frustration with your website when it comes to comparing products.
Thanks!
We had a post on the forums today where a customer wanted to return an item because they felt that the hard drive space was not matching what was advertised. While we resolved the issue I feel that Geek Squad should do a user friendly video that explains hard drive formatting capacity and the reality of space that is available on the given sizes that are popular on the market. It would help customers to determine what laptop is right for them based on storage capacities.
I'm disabled, so I can't speak for anyone who works as that is not my expertise. But I've shopped at Best Buy a couple of times, and one time I really was drove up the wall by the constant sales pitch of a warranty or getting people to buy a bunch of accessories where they did not need them. While the whole market of big electronic items is dependant on the manufacturers who make these things to complete our purchase, some of up already have the cables, but its hard to get out of the store because a sales associate goes on and on when you politely tell them no that you do not want the extra accessories.
So my idea is " No means no " when it comes to the sales of an item. If Best Buy was right and I was wrong, I gladly don't mind making the trip back to the store to get what was missing. I just don't want to come off across an employee in the store as "I don't know what I am talking about " kind of person if you get what I mean.
And hey its understandable, we all can't read body language and determine what someone wants, or knows , or perhaps not at all?

dalton is a growing college city and is a good oppurtunity to open up a new store as dalton grows
I would like for them to start putting a Best Buy Mobile Store in the Richmond Square Mall in Richmond, Indiana on Feburary 21, 2012...
Over the years I have shopped at Best Buy, and I noticed that iTunes Gift Cards, Prepaid Phone Cards, and other prepaid cards are scattered about. What if they were neatly all combined on one isle so its easy to find the one you want instead of having to wander around the store to get the ones you want? Against a wall or something.
