my ipod is water damaged does anyone know where to get it fixed or how much it will cost?

You dont mention what size the iPod is so according to Apple the out of warranty repair costs are:

iPod Touch 8Gb 4th Gen: $99
iPod Touch 32Gb 4th Gen: $149
iPod Touch 64Gb 4th Gen: $199

Since the iPod has water damage it would have voided the warranty and the prices above reflect Apples costs. Costs from 3rd party vendors such as Best Buy may vary.

i have an ipod touch 6generation that is also water damage, mine is 8G and i did buy the protection plan from best buy, but  i do not have that number available. and i wonder what do i need to do and how much will it cost to get my ipod fix. i hope that someone can help me.  my ipod is not even a year old. help!

There is no iPod Touch 6th Generation. 4th Generation is the newest iPod Touch. However if you have the Advanced Black Tie Protection (which includes Accidental Handling) Best Buy can send it out for rapid exchange. If you just have the standard Black Tie protection accidental damage (water) would not be covered and you would be subject to the above repair prices to get it repaired by Apple.

If you dont have the receipt or Black Tie number that is not a issue. Go to any best Buy and they can pull up the service plan.

Well, I had an iPod touch 4 and it was getting hot. So, I put a Genius Bar appointment and they gave me another one!
