what does the warranty for an ipod touch actually cover other than it malfunctioning?

Currently it covers mfg. defects, dust, heat, humidity, power surge, normal wear and tear, and drops and spills not due to negligence or abuse.

If you purchased it after 7-11-09, then you do have accidental coverage. Just take it into your local BB, and you'll have two options:

do i need receipt since its best buy and they take down all the info?

Nope. You gave both your name and phone number when you purchased the plan, so they'll have it on file under that.

I got a iPod Touch with non-funtion screen, the water indicator stripe was been activated by humidity, the PSP will cover the repair??

It depends whether you purchased the accidental plan. If so, then yes, it will most likely be covered. If not, you're out of luck.
