I am debating on getting the sansa fuze mp3 instead of the ipod. Does anyone have any advice or recommendations? The device is for my teenage son. Thanks

What kind of iPod were you considering? Because the iPod has a proprietary restrictive DRM format that can't be exchanged with other players. I would find a Sansa with an FM Radio. Perfect for use with purchasing tunes on Rhapsody which offer the non restrictive MP3 format.
Can you give us a few links to some products so we can compare?

That was five years ago. iTunes did away with DRM for music and you can convert purchased music from the iTunes store to MP3 via a simple menu command and play the files on any portable audio player. Word.

I agree that the Fuze is a better choice. Mainly because you don't have to infect your computer with that piece of malware commonly referred to as iTunes, but also because the Fuze is easier to operate.
