I will never be back to Best Buy. Have bought several things online and never had a problem until saturday. Bought a charger for Ipad. Went to pick it up, didn't have credit card that I placed order online with me. had confirmation email, govt. ID and work ID and several other credit cards with me to identify me as the buyer. I Informed them that I only use the credit card in question when I buy online. I don't carry the credit card with me. WELL to say the least they said I couldn't pick up item w/o credit card. So I went to Wal-Mart and bought the item and at a lower price. Then I cancelled the order and another order that I had placed online. Funny thing is I could elect someone else to pick it up with only the email confirmation and their ID, they don't need the credit card, but ME the Buyer had to have the credit card. So goodbye, they must think they are the only company that sells electronics. May they go bye-bye like Circuit City.

you can name your self as a family member/friend and not have to carry your credit card just your id and order # as you stated.

Too bad the manager on duty didn't inform me that I could do that.  Still a stupid policy
