iPod touch 2G

When I was trying to jailbreak my Ipod with redsn0w the screen went black and know it wont turn on. I think if I hook it up withItunes it will turn back on but not so sure. Can you guys please help me

I'd strongly suggest trying to restore it with iTunes, and learning up a bit more before trying to jailbreak it again.

Sounds like your device is in recovery mode. Connect to iTunes and try to restore. If that doesn't work try to reset it by holding power button and the home button for at least 10 seconds. If it works the Apple logo should appear. If that doesn't work google search and download a app called "tiny umbrella" it has a option to kick a device out of recovery mode and try it. If none those options work you very likely did something that is actually rather hard to achieve and bricked your device.

Prior to jailbreaking you should be very comfortable with the process and know what to do should something go wrong. Jailbreaking and rooting devices are not for novice users since anything could go wrong.
----------ALWAYS check your purchased items for damage before leaving the store. If you never leave the store and check it in front of a employee it removes all doubt that you might have damaged the item.----------
