What if I decide to buy the 32 GB iPod Touch instead of the 8 GB. Will the price increase(of the advanced GBSTPB plan or w.e). Will it be more than 50 bucks?

So what happens if I break it. Will i get a giftcard back? or will they replace the iPod/give me a new one. If they give me the giftcard, then how much will be on it? $299?

Beware any extended warranty you purchase from Best Buy. We bought the extended warranties for 2 iPod Touches plus I have been paying $15 for my iPhone warranty. We bought the plans because we were told they covered the devices should the kids drop them. When my son dropped his, breaking the glass, we brought it to Best Buy and were told that we did not have accidental coverage. When I checked on my iPhone coverage, sure enough, accidents were not covered - even though I specifically asked about it! So to date, I have paid $245 to Best Buy ($40 per iPod Touch plus $15/month for 11 months for iPhone) for absolutely nothing. So do your best to protect the device but do not purchase the additional coverage. And yes, I should have read the fine print but I trusted the salesperson. Who knew?

Who told you that the iPhone GSBTP does not cover accidental? It definitely covers cracked screens.

I spoke with a woman named Ruby at their 800 number customer service. I specifically asked her if I dropped my iPhone would damage be covered and she told me it would not. So I immediately cancelled my $15/month plan. What's the point? As I wrote previously, I am still seething from the broken iPod Touch that we were also told would be covered with our $40 warranty and is not.
