My iPod Touch (32 GB) screen cracked this afternoon. I do have the accidental damage plan on it. Can I take it to the store and exchange it for a new one? They did last time when I had to exchange my original after the home button froze.

Yes you can go into the store as long as you have an active accidental geek squad plan. although that will fullfill your plan meaning you will have to purchase a new geek squad plan on your new one if you still want to be covered.

You can not exchange it for a "new" one. They will take your iPod and send it out for rapid replacement which would send you a refurbished ipod in 3-7 business days.

If it was design flaw such as the home button freezing like last time then yes you could probably get a new one straight from the shelf but since it is a cracked screen unless you have VERY nice management at that store you will get a refurbished unit.
