iPod Nano 4th Generation Click Wheel Trouble

Hi, I have and orange ipod nano 4th generation with the service plan. Recently i have been having trouble with my iPod click wheel. About 50% of the time it doesmt work, it will jump all around, up down, and the other 50% of the time it would work fine. This really annoys me. I want to take it to my local best buy/geek squad, but i'm afaid it will work and they won't belive me that it actualy doesnt work half the time. What should i do?
