My sister dropped it in the bathtub, is it possible for best buy to fix it? if so how much would it cost.

 I would say the damage is pretty bad since it been broken for atleast 2 months and it had a long time to dry in rice, and it wont turn on even if i charge it

Only option for a cheap fix would be possibly if you had the Advanced Black Tie protection. And only reason I say possibly is because I cant get the GS website to pull up but I think even that warranty is voided if its a complete submersion.

Otherwise I would start looking at a new iPod. Apple repair prices for the 3rd gen is 149 for the 32GB and 199 for the 64GB.

Complete submersion is not covered, correct. At this point, too, the board is probably very corroded anyhow.

Replacement is your only real option, unfortunately. Yes, I feel your pain - I had my 4th Gen iPod stolen, and it's *heartwrenching* losing such a valuable tool/toy. We pick ourselves up and move on.
