Voiceover Kit Error on Windows

@TWELPFORCE I cannot install the voiceover kit for windows. it comes up with error (1603) every time i try to install it. can you help?

This may be caused by an issue with the location of iPodVoiceOver.dll.  Try the following:

  1. Shut down iTunes.
  2. Locate the iPodVoiceOver.dll file.  It's often located in C:\Program\iTunes
  3. Copy the iPodVoiceOver.dll file to the same directory that iTunes.exe is located.  This sometimes is C:\Program\Media\iTunes
  4. Restart iTunes.

If you continue to have issues, send @Twelpforce another tweet!

Because you can only tweet 140 characters and there wouldn't have been enough space to offer the full solution.

Maybe there are others who have the same question, and they can see this as well.  PLUS, if any of our great forum users (like you!) have anything helpful to add, it's even better!  :smileyhappy:

But how would the person who asked this get this answer? That's what I meant.

Howdy Nokia!

The OP used the link to this forum post to create a micro-URL with bit.ly which s/he shared with the customer via Twitter.  The bit.ly link redirected our Twelpforce customer to this post for a detailed answer to their original question.

Re: Voiceover Kit Error on Windows

That's correct, the Twitter user who requested help was sent a response with the bit.ly link to this thread.

I'll try and add a header to future posts that explains what's going on in future posts, as I expect we'll be using this resource more in the future.

Thanks!
