I have the old 20g click wheel ipod.  I've been having some issues with it begin hard to reboot/reset.  Took it on a trip this weekend and was working fine in the car, but left it in the console of car for a couple days.  It was not hot, but very cold at night.  It doesn't hold a charge much to begin with, but now it is completely dead.  Won't charge, turn on, reset, play, give me any sign of life when plugged into anything (charger, computer, car, etc.).  Is it time for a new ipod (finally)?

The battery is probably dead. You might as well buy a new one.

That's what I figured.  Not necessarily a bad thing - I'm sure the new technology will serve me well.
