I just bought my daughter an ipod touch for christmas and the camera shutter keeps sticking shut.Has anyone else has this problem ? Is there a way for me to unlock or is it defective?

Hello, my daughter is also having problems with her camera but it is the camera icon that seems to have malfunctioned as when she clicks that icon, the screen just goes black.  Wondering if I could just exchange it for another one as it was purchased on Dec 21, 2011.

Hello again.  Good news!!!  There is a settings icon where you can check to see if restrictions are turned on, we checked the camera app to see if there was a restriction.  If there is a restriction, remove it and then the camera came back!!!!  She is back in business!!!
