HI,
I bought a ipod touch 3rd generation 8GB around January and got it a 2 year replacement plan. And it had the one year plan on it before that.
I was just wondering if this would cover echanging it in for a newer 4th generation one? Or maybe if it gives the $200 I paid for it back towards the new one and me just pay the extra $25 to get the 4th Gen.? I am almost 100% sure that it doesn't but I just wanted to make sure, I just didn't know if it having the extra warrenty did anything for that. It still looks completely brand new just it has a skullcandy case on it that wont seem to come off.
I also tried getting on the Best Buy thing that says how much they would pay for the used stuff but it wouldnt load, it kept saying "could not load page correctly"
Well thanks

While your device is out of the return period you could return to the store and return the protection plan for a pro-rated refund. Meaning you wont get the full price you paid for the plan back but should get alot of it back. Then you can use the money they give you back to assist in buying a new ipod.

I will probably just stick with this ipod then. It works great anyways.

You may be able to trade in what you have and get some money back and just pay the rest out of pocket check out best buys' trade in policy!!!
