Ipod Touch 4th Generation Skype 'failed'

I just got the new ipod touch 4th generation a last week and downloaded skype. As today was my first time using it, it kept saying 'call failed' after only a second of being connected. I turned it off & on, still failed. Uninstall the app, turned it off, turned it on & installed the app, still failed. I just used FaceTime and everything worked fine. Whats wrong with this Skype??

Seriously though. I'm assuming you have your iPod connected to your WiFi. I dug onto the Skype forum, and it seems to be a problem with Skype, though I wasn't able to find a definite fix/cause for it.

The only potential fix that I saw was to make sure you're logged out of Skype anywhere else(home computers).

Thanks for your help, I found it out was actually my friend's skype not mine. I skyped with another person and it worked just fine!

Great that you got it fixed! Hopefully your friend will be able to fix his/hers and you can talk to them again, eh?
