Ordered mine on 9/1 ...weird that they are still taking orders on the website when they can't even fulfill the original "pre-orders".  Making me very sad...

I ordered (2) 32 gb touch online a week ago to be picked up in my store. Called the store & was told that they didn't know when they were going to get their shipment in, they had alot of orders to be picked up in store & couldn't tell me if my order would be filled on next shipment. I never got a backorder email. My order just said confimring store inventory. When I aksed what that meant because I did not receive a backorder email, I was told if they do not have stock it is backordered whether or not you receive an email stating it as such. I found a store 2 &1/2 hrs away that had them. I verified stock, they held them for a few hours to get my order pickup location transferred. I was able to get them today.

Ordered a 64 GB Touch 9/2. I canceled the order after I pick one up from the local Apple retail store 9/9.

I ordered a 32 gig ipod touch online on 9/12 and got it today (9/24).. About 2 weeks. Not bad.

But only thing that am not satisfied about are the earphones!!

The ones i got with the package are the normal earphones without the mic/volume/play control buttons (like the one you get with the older shuffles).

How am supposed to control music now!!

Is this a mistake in packaging or intentional by apple?

Can i get it exchanged for the original apple earphones with mic??

As I said in your other thread, it isn't supposed to come with the remote/mic ones. It has a built in mic. You control it with the touch screen...

Well... it started showing up closer and closer to home in the BB stores... but the day I decided to cancel my order and go drive and get one, I got an email saying it's been shipped. :-P

So... ordered online 9/5 and it shipped 9/28.
