Help, please????

My son has a sansa and an iTunes gift card, we cannot figure out how to download the songs he wants on there from his computer. Can anybody tell us how to do that?

A Sandisk Sansa is not a compatible player with the iTunes Store. It is only designed for Apple Ipod. Youll want the Best Buy Digital Music store instead.

Re: Help, please????

Hello SMWA,

While you can download music and pay for it with your iTunes gift card, the file format that Apple uses (AAC) is not a supported format for Sansa mp3 players (Sansa supports MP3, WAV, WMA, secure WMA, and Audiobook files).  Please bear in mind that the music or video files that you buy from the iTunes Store will play fine on your computer or another mp3 player that supports the AAC format, such as an iPod.  You will not be able to play them on the Sansa, unfortunately.

I hope this helps.

Re: Help, please????

Thanks for the info guys, but we figured it out. We downloaded the songs onto the computer than copied them to the Sanza - it works just fine, and we are set now.
