I've been saving money to buy an ipod touch (because my old nano got stolen) since last year, now I have the money but I'm not sure if the ipod worths every penny, what do you think?; now, if I decide to buy it, should I wait for a special offer or something? or buy it as soon as possible?; do you know if any special is coming soon? because if I buy it i will not have enough money for the case and the charger... (any recomendations about a good case and charger)
Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.D. Do you think I need a warranty or something like that?
Thank you!!!!
Sorry for my bad English...

Hello JuanCCC -
I have always been in love with my iPod, granted I have only the Nano presently. My sister-in-law has Touch and she absolutely adores it. I think your decision should be based on how much you think you would like it.
As far as a case, I protect mine with a Neoprene type plastic case that is somewhat pliable. It keeps my unit from getting scratched and roughed up. I personally have never used a charger, because your iPod can charge when connected to your computer, so I cannot give a recommendation on this.
You ask about the Performance Service Plan. There are some items that I do not bother with buying the PSP on, but an iPod is not one of them. I feel that it was a very good investment for me to protect my unit. I know from selling iPods that the battery can over time start not holding a charge, and the battery is covered under the PSP, along with a variety of other provisions. You can read more about what the PSP does cover here.
Keep in mind, you can always return to the store during the return period of 30 days and purchase a PSP to protect your unit.
I hope this helps!
