Hey I have an ipod touch 3rd generation, I also have the black tie warrenty and it doesn't expire until black friday this year. Take note i don't abuse it at all, only the regular scratches on the chrome back due to exposure. The battery life only lasts about half what it used to and it constantly crashes, regardless of me restoring it/updating it, and it ocasionally freezes for about 30 min when i shut it off, and it still loses battery life when off. Not to mention the volume up button jammed when I tryed to turn it up :L. If I could hear back thanks, I've taken it into best buy when it's frozen and not waken up, and they said to update it and i did, I brought it back in and said only if there's a hardware issue can it be returned
. I'm honestly sick of dealing with something that isn't working and wish to exchange for a new one. (purchased for $300). If I could hear back I would be very happy

Well, after about a week, of periodic use of my ipod, it seems that the refurbished i pod given to me is a POS, it pauses randomly throughout my songs, skips, fast forwards rewinds, freezes and crashes still
. The only thing fixed was the broken rocker button on the side. What do i do know? We were told not to renew my warrenty, and I'm afraid that they just shipped me a poor excuse for an ipod.
(Let it stand that I know you're only trying to help and you are not a best buy employee)
