Hi,

I'm thinking of getting a 32 GB either 3rd of 4th Gen... I have many questions regarding the IPODs.

Any advice/help would be appreciated.

Are they compatible with operating systems other then Apple? (I'm running Vista)

Can I transfer music directly from my PC to an IPOD?

Can any headphones be used, or just the ones Apple sells?

Do the IPODS come with a charger or is that sold separately?

And, any good sales coming up for the Holidays?

They include a USB cable that will allow charging through a computer or USB wall charger.

Sales are not released in advance. However, iPods do not go on sale, except possibly including a gift card with purchase.

The 4G got 49.3 hr. for music and 7.9 for video.
