Best Buy takes great pride in it's community involvement. As such, Best Buy is dedicated to supporting nonprofit organizations and programs that provide teens with opportunities to develop technology skills.
For an organization to be eligible to apply for a donation, they must be a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit or a public agency, within 50 miles of the local Best Buy store, and somehow serve children in grades K-12. Some example categories of requests that might be considered would be:
Educational programs for K-12 students
What we do not fund:
Organizations not certified as 501(c)3 by the IRS
General operating expenses
General operating requests
Fraternal organizations or social clubs
Units of government or quasi-governmental agencies
Labor organizations or political campaigns
