I pre-ordered Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 online for in store pickup and i already recieved the second email saying i can pick it up...even bestbuy.com says it is ready to pick-up, what should i do?

You can pick it up at stores that have midnight releases at Midnight tonight, otherwise it won't be given out until when your local store opens Tuesday. Save yourself the trip.

The reason a lot of these orders are showing up that they're ready for pick up is that the stores that are having midnight releases tonight are prepping for the release. Meaning, they're pulling preorders for the game, and putting the appropriate copy of the game with the preorder. Once they set that preordered game aside, the system automatically sends out an e-mail that it's ready for pick up.

If you were to go to the store at any point before the game is released at midnight, you would not be able to get the game, as the official street date is not until 12AM on 11/10/09 (which is tonight).
